A temporary exhibition at The Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth “Conflict and Change” explores some of the key conflicts of the 20th century and tracks the technological changes and developments of the Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm, Royal Marines and Submarine Service during this time.

This exhibition examines the ‘decade of disturbance’ between 1913 and 1923, from the Lockout to the ending of the Irish Civil War.

Concentrating on the political dimensions and personalities involved. The exhibition tells the stories of prominent figures in the events and movements of the time, such as P. H. Pearse, James Connolly and Countess Markievicz.

Kew Palace / Historic Royal Palaces




A creative pitch exploring possible approaches for the Re-opening of Kew Palace. Presented as it would have been during the period 1800-1810 and interpreting the domestic life and wide-ranging interests of George III & his family.

A key consideration of the brief was for the conservation of the building fabric, and for its surviving original finishes. The brief also highlighted the need for improving and extending visitor access, along with the interpretation and education provision of the Palace.
